Are Pure Leather Shoes Washable ?

I have a nike R10 football/soccer shoes.. its made of pure leather..it got really muddy, slush ,dirt, stains and stuff... is it safe to dip it in a bucket of water and wash it?? or will it affect the pure leather in any way ?

No you should go to the shoe store and get a cleaner made for leather, its in a can that sprays, and then you can also buy the leather protectant that when you are done cleaning you spray all over the show to make the leather stay good longer.

Reply:Leather will get hard after being put in water. It is absolutely not washable! Dipping it in water will ruin your shoes.





You can use a damped cloth to wipe off the dirt first. Then buy some leather cleaner and use it to clean the stains and also to give it a little bit of moisture and conditioning. Or, if you don't like to do all these, you can take the shoes to a shoe repair place and let someone clean them for you.

Reply:You can wash leather tennis shoes in the washing machine.. just don't dry them in the dryer or they shrink on you. Put them out in the sunshine or air dry them near a heater vent.

take some veniger in a bolw and dip a clean cloth and clean u'r shoes with that it gives a good shione and protects u'r shoes


for a good shine apply petrokium gelly (vaselin)overnight and rub in the morning to get a brilliant shine and to clean u'r shoes.
