I have been playing since i was a kid and i have never heard of that conserning the studs. The most important things is for you to feel comfertable in the shoes. If u don't feel comfertable then it won't allow u to play well and they might even hurt or give u blisters. So look a pair that u would feel comfertable playing in.

I'd have to say the new line of shoes and cleats from UnderArmour. They look sporty, sturdy and can be used for all sports. If not, I'd say that Nike and Adidas has a cool line of cross trainers for every sport as well.

I play indoor soccer during the winter. After my first winter/spring practice on artificial grass, I realized how much slower I am on grass with cleats. My shoes felt like 2 bricks. Throughout the whole practice I felt like staying still and when I had the ball something just didn't feel right. My shots were way off, the accurary I developed with indoor shoes didn't coordinate with cleats. I have an old nike pair, don't know which model, probably 4-5 years old. So old i couldn't even find the model picture on the net. Anyways. I need some recommendations on what pairs I should buy. I need a shoe that feels light and offers great control for shooting and technique.

Hey people thanx if you can answer this. By curb I meen to bend the ball in the air. Roberto Carlos did that in a world cup scoring one of the most amazing fouls ever taken. On my dad's old soccer team, this guy put rubber bands on the inside of his cleat, and this was to make it curve. I don't know how, but it worked, and he was the leading scorer on the team.
Or, you can buy cleats that curve it for you. David Beckham's shoe lets you curve the ball because of rubber on the inside of the shoe, and that shoe id the best out there, it is even used by pros!

But the best cleat is going to be different depending on what position you play. If you are a skilled position you should go for something very light but also supportive. make sure that the cleats are detachable so that you can change them out. But Nike is definitely the best cleat out.

If you are a skilled position you should go for something very light but also supportive. make sure that the cleats are detachable so that you can change them out. But Nike is definitely the best cleat out.

Football cleats have 7 spikes; two in the back, two four between where the middle of your foot and your toes are, and one at the tip.

Should I buy shoe insoles for snowboarding / wakeboarding / rollerblading ? They make my feet hurt.?
OK so heres the deal, I'm in real good shape, and I do many different types of physical activities, and most of them are perfectly fine. For example Skateboarding, Riding dirt bikes/quads, football, basketball, soccer. None of those hurt my feet.
For some reason though there are 3 sports that do. Snowboarding, wakeboarding, and skatepark rollerblading. For some reason when I do those sports, the arch portion of my foot really starts hurting, its like a burning feeling. The kind of burning feeling you get if you did like 100 bicep curls. However this happens even when I barely start, I'll be full of energy, yet I'll have to sit every couple minutes just to attempt to relax my feet, it really holds me back.
I don't know if maybe I'm flat footed, or need more arch support, or what. But there has got to be some solution.

Need some advice about picking skis?
I love sports and am just starting to get into skiing more now that I live in MN. I have already been boot shopping and i have decided on getting Technica M12 boots and I'm going to have them worked on with custom insoles. The problem that I run into with skiing is that it is not designed for big people. I wear a 13 4E shoe and weigh about 270. Not many people my size are good at sports but I am a state champ football player and play AAA hockey. Anyways, I am looking for twin tip skis that will serve me well both in MN and in places like Colorado where there is more powder. I was looking at the J.O. Pros by Head but I'm not sure if the flex is too flimsy. I am just looking for good advice on which skis to consider given my criteria and my weight. Thanks in advance for reading this and for your help.

You probably won't want to hear this but stay away from the twintips. You won't find any that you'll be happy with off the terrain park. At your size you'll find all of them will chatter too much at any kind of speed and will be hard to edge. If you are determined to do some park riding you're gonna have to bite the bullet and purchase 2 pair of skis. There really isn't a great all mountain ski but in the case of us big guys it just doesn't exist
Reply:Don't ask questions here, go demo and then buy...especially at your size, ski flex is gonna have a huge impact and you can't really know how it's gonna perform until you get out on the hill with it.
That being said, I could give you a short list of skis that may work for you, but would need to know more about where you ski most, what kind of terrain you ski (big mountain, park, trees, groomers, bumps) and what your skill level is.
Either way the JO Pro's are a good, fun park ski, but they are almost completely useless anywhere else on the mountain. So I would not recommend them to you unless you are looking for a strictly park ski.
Go to your local ski shop (DO NOT GO TO A BIG BOX RETAILER as they have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to skiing) and pose the same question to them as you have here and they should be able to help you out or at least point you in the right direction. I can't do much without more info.

When you demo you'll find some skis feel like noodles, some are just really hard etc. You need to find what you like.

Eighteen months ago I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from Drinking Mates 4.2, which I'd used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is also incompatible with several other applications, such as Lads Night Out 3.1, Football 2 and Playboy 6.1.
Successive versions of Girlfriend proved no better. A shareware beta-programme, Party Girl 2.1 which I tried had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks.
Eventually I tried to run Girlfriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the same time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other they caused severe damage to my hardware.
Sensing a way out, I then upgraded to Fiancé 1.0 only to discover that this product soon had to be upgraded (at great cost) to Wife 1.0, which I reluctantly agreed to because, whilst Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my available resources, it does come bundled with FreeSex Plus and Cleanhouse 2000.
Shortly after this upgrade however I then discovered that Wife 1.0 can be very unstable and costly to run. For example, any mistakes I made were automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They then resurfaced months later when I had forgotten about them.
Wife 1.0 also has an automatic Diary Explorer and E-mail porn filter, and can, without warning, launch Photostrop and Whingezip! These later products have no help files and I have to try and guess what the problem is myself.
Additional costly problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly, requiring Shoe Shop Browser for new attachments and also Hairstyle Express which needs to be reinstalled every other week. Wife 1.0 also spawns unwelcome child processes that also drain my resources. It also conflicted with some of the new games I wanted to try, stating that they are an illegal operation.
When Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Audi TT programme it often crashes or runs the system dry. Wife 1.0 also has a rather annoying pop-up called Mother-in-Law, which can't be turned off.
Recently I've attempted to try Mistress 2000, but there could be problems, a friend has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects the presence of Mistress 2000 it tends to delete all my MS Money files before un-installing itself.
Any Ideas??

How to heal my leg as fast a possible?
I hurt or bruised my calf muscle or strained it ro something and I limped for a week or so.

Successive versions of Girlfriend have proved no better. A shareware
beta-program, Party Girl 2.1 had many bugs and left a virus in my
system,
forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks.
Eventually, I tried to run Girlfriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the
same
time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other
they caused severe damage to my hardware.
Sensing a way out, I upgraded to Fiancee 1.0 only to discover that this
product has to be upgraded to Wife 1.0. I did this largely because,

Motorcycle for large customer?
I know what you're thinking... another 300lb 40 something wanting a crotchrocket. Not exactly. I'm a 6'10" 250 pound size 22 shoe 18 year old, and I would really love to get myself on a smaller CC sport bike, or at the very least some sort of bike. I know these things aren't built for football/basketball players, but I'd like to know if there is any company out there that would even consider putting someone my size on one of their bikes? I'm not in this for speed, but I'd like to have something like a 250cc Ninja or Gsxr 500 for a decent pull when I get bored with it, while still having decent gas mileage. so my mom buys him a football game for his ps2. We went to the mall to look for the jordans he wanted but they were all sold out. sooooo, my mom told my dad just to give him money. so my dad gave my bro 50 bucks (hes only 13)
so my mean sister drew life size jordans and a life size psp and life size games and a life size pack of weight watchers gum.
she cut everything out and put the paper jordans on a shoe box and the paper psp on a small white box with the paper games. she made him a greeting card that said "your the cutest kid in the planet........jupiter" she put everything in a gift bag and the weight watchers gum at the very bottom of the bag. when my bro saw the bag, he got all happy and started going nuts and he opened the gift real quick and started crying cause it was all paper. mean huh
