Reply:Green dot means that helmet has communications in it.
NFL rules only allow 1 comms helmet on the field at one time.
the green dot shows the refs which helmet has comms.
if teams are going to have a trick play with the backup QB he has to have another helmet without comms to come in the game at the same time as the starting QB.
