Broken big toe?

I have asked before but will I will go into more detail now. My 14 yr old son broke his big toe playing football Sept 4, we went for xrays the next day, the Dr. said it was a chip where the big toe bends and that college and pro players would keep playing and I asked the Dr. if this was a season ending injury, the Dr. said no, maybe 2 or 3 games. We go back Sept 11 for more xrays and he mentions ligaments and prabably not play again this season. When my son asked about playing the last game on Sept 25 he told us to come back Sept 21 for more xrays, maybe tape it up and play. we go on the 21st and after more xrays, Dr. says no. When my son asked if they made it for the championship (Oct 6) could he possibly play and the Dr. said to come back on the 5th and to bring his shoe and he would be out of the boot. We had to change the app to Oct 2nd. What chance do you think the Dr. and coach will let him play. The coach gave him a card yesterday about how bad he knows he feels about it. 8th gr

Broken big toe?
NONE! Takes more than 30 days for a bone to heal proper.


Would you expect to be typing with broken finger(s) daily until they healed up? Of course NOT!
