Guys, football and my dad's socks?

My dad's feet sweat so bad that it drenches his socks and the bottom of his pant legs. When we watch football together he always takes his shoes off and it makes me throw up a little bit. His feet smell like nasty old cheese. I love football and my dad, how can i help the situation?

Serious answers only please

Guys, football and my dad's socks?
I would always take your father out behind the wood shed when his did properly wash his feet or clean his ears.

I might need to come over now and do that.

How are you grandson?
Reply:LICK HIS FEET.
Reply:put him in a home.
Reply:Look here little dude.....cut your dad's feet off and get him some prosthetics. It will take some time for him to get used to them and he'll have to walk on crutches for a while.....but trust me it will all be worth it.

You could even have different attachments that he could use for feet.....such as tonka truck wheels, snow shoes, rocket propelled skates....imagine the possibilities....he could be prepared for any situation.

Another option is bannanas......a buddy of mine in HS had nasty smelling feet, we made him eat a bunch of bannanas and it cleared them right up. I think it's because of all the potassium.
Reply:You can buy sock with silver in them that eliminates odor. The best one is SmartKnit. There is no seam, the top is non-binding and the sock is form-fitting. Do a search for SmartKnit socks. I know they are available on-line.
Reply:You have to do a few things -

Get him a few pairs of shoes (at least 3). That way he can use a different shoe every day.

After each game, leave the shoes where the shoes can get some air and sunshine for at least a day.

Get some foot odor powders or sprays. My dad uses odor eaters

You'll find this and other foot odor products at local stores and online too.

Buy him a few socks that have 100% natural fibers, meaning cotton or wool. The acrylic/nylon fibers also cause odors.

Ensure that the socks are clean before he wears them. Dirty socks that become wet will smell really bad. And nylon socks will smell bad when wet, even if not dirty.

If possible, wash the shoes.

Because the sweat smells of whatever we eat, if you dad eats too much garlic, onions, etc that smell, the sweat will smell too.

If he has foot odor problems even after doing all of the above, visit a podiatrist because it could be a medical issue. The last thing you want is infection anywhere on his foot.
Reply:Have one of those meetings everyone hates: Tell him his feet stink and you can't stand it any longer. Tell him to wash his feet or your not going to hang with him any longer...

If the guy is that inconsiderate, to say no.. screw him, watch the games somewhere else...
Reply:Buy him a foot bath and tell him it is so he can soak his feet while watching the game :)
Reply:give him some odor eaters and foot powder
Reply:use an air freshener he doesn't see or tell him the truth and to clean his feet more often
