i was at school, at a football game, and me and my friends were just walking down the sidewalk when all of a sudden we turn around and see a billion football players running towards us ((because it was the end of half time and they were going back to the field)) and we tried to get off on either side of the side walk when all of a sudden my sandal falls off while im running and i turn around and run back to get it and it was practically ON TOP of the coach's shoe. i had to bend over at his feet and get it! this coach also happens to be my TEACHER! and he starts yelling at me like "GIRLS GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!" in a really angry voice. i was soo mortified i had to run out of the way limping in one sandal.. i really have alot of respect for this teacher but im so embarrased and ashamed, he might feel that i did this on purpose or to gain attention, (which i obviously didnt)..
how can i best handle this?
Im absolutely MORTIFIED... i dont think i can EVER show my face again!!?
Hon, he probably forgot it ALREADY!
When things like this happen, they are never as big a deal to others as they are to YOU, because you are the embarrassed one.
The best thing is to act like it didn't happen....and if anyone WOULD say anything, make a little joke out of it, like "I was trying to teach the guys how to BLOCK" or something.
Don't feel bad, stuff happens!
Reply:you will laugh at the situation 5 years from now, trust me :]
Reply:Why be embrassed or mortified? Yo wher trying to save your shoe.
As far as the coaching yelling like that I bet he is now ashamed about how he did it, Plus if he was losing badly he was under pressure.
I would not worry about it and after a while you will get a laugh out of it.
Reply:Believe it or not, that's just one of those things. It'll pass....truly no big deal. (That's not even that bad, embarrassment-wise); I could tell you stories that would curl your hair, because when I humiliate myself, I go for broke! You'll be fine...
Reply:you will laugh about it soon enough,,,,,lighten up..................no bigo
Reply:if that is the most embarassing thing that will ever happen to you then congratulations on that... face it when growing up we will all make mistakes and get embarrassed it is a part of growing up
Reply:I would have gotten out of the way, and gotten my sandal after they passed. Do not be embarrassed, things happen.
Reply:heh, wow...I wish I had your problems instead of mine. thats nothing you know him and your few friends were probably the only ones to see that. just forget about it don't be "mortified" about it..its not a big deal
Reply:Um ... I don't get it.
What was embarrassing?
