Is he angry?? im soo embarrassed!!?

i was at school, at a football game, and me and my friends were just walking down the sidewalk when all of a sudden we turn around and see a billion football players running towards us ((because it was the end of half time and they were going back to the field)) and we tried to get off on either side of the side walk when all of a sudden my sandal falls off while im running and i turn around and run back to get it and it was practically ON TOP of the coach's shoe. i had to bend over at his feet and get it! this coach also happens to be my TEACHER! and he starts yelling at me like "GIRLS GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!" in a really angry voice. i was soo mortified i had to run out of the way limping in one sandal.. i really have alot of respect for this teacher but im so embarrased and ashamed, he might feel that i did this on purpose or to gain attention, (which i obviously didnt)..





do you think he is angry at me? and how can i handle this?

He won't be angry. He was most likely trying to be heard over the noise and trying to actually get you out of the way before you got trampled on.





Something along these lines has happened before to me too. The best thing to do is to walk casually into class and act like nothing untoward has happened.

Reply:I wouldn't worry about it too much, hun. I'm sure he's not angry with you. It's not your fault they lost the game or anything. You tried your best to get out of the way and it's not your fault you lost your shoe. You could have waited for them to pass to get your shoe, but you were obviously not thinking straight. We all have those moments. It will be ok. It has nothing to do with you respecting him or not. What happened was just an awkward situation and nobody can control that. It will be ok. Don't sweat it. It will all be forgotten soon. : )

Reply:I think it was just his way of reacting to the situation. I am sure he didnt mean it personally towards you - he might not even remember it was you since they were losing and it was dark. Dont be ashamed accidents happen -you didnt mean to be in the way. Let go of it and move on to something way more important like world peace or your homework.

Reply:The coach was irritated at the game already. Guys get over stuff easily (not like us girls!). He's probably forgotten about it about. His mind was on the game. Just forget about it.
Reply:seriously, don't worry. as an adult he will truly not be bothered by it, and will have seen the situation for what it was, a group of girls accidentally stumbling around! don't be embarrassed and ashamed, teachers are adults and have seen it all before!

but you just need to talk to the teacher and tell him how you felt when he yelled at you. And just ask him if how he felt about the situation.

Reply:In life, crazy things happen. It is also entirely possible that he did'nt notice the sandal and just thought you were being goofy for not getting out of the way. In any case, YOU are the only one even thinking about this, so get over it. There's nothing you can do to change what happened or what anyone thinks. Let it go and move on with you life
